A busy mind can take up a lot of room.

A busy mind can take up a lot of room.

Perhaps you replay conversations, prepare for every possible outcome, or find it hard to switch off after a full day. From the outside, you may seem to be managing. Inside, there may be very little room to rest.

You do not have to find the perfect explanation before asking for support. We can start with what daily life feels like for you.

Practical support. A deeper conversation.

Practical support. A deeper conversation.

I’m Lauren. I’m warm, direct but kind, and interested in what life feels like from your side of the conversation. I draw from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), alongside reflection on the experiences and patterns that shape how you respond. There is room to notice difficult thoughts, explore what matters to you, and practice treating yourself with more compassion.

A FEW QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Questions about anxiety therapy.

Questions about anxiety therapy.

Do I need a diagnosis before reaching out?

No diagnosis is needed to send an inquiry. Tell me briefly what has been feeling difficult, and we can discuss whether my practice might be a fit.

Is this page only for women?

My individual practice serves adults in California. Women’s experiences are a particular focus, but you can inquire about anxiety support regardless of gender.

Will we focus on practical tools or deeper patterns?

There is room for both. I draw from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and reflective, emotion-focused work. We can explore what helps with difficult moments and get curious about familiar patterns, choosing the focus together.

What should I include in my first message?

A brief note about what you are looking for, that you are in California, and any scheduling questions is enough. Please save sensitive clinical details for the intake process.
