This notice describes website inquiries and initial contact with Lauren Chew, LCSW, through Counseling with Lo. Clinical intake and treatment involve separate privacy notices and consent forms.
What you share
The contact form asks for your name and email address. A phone number and brief message are optional. Please use it for general questions and scheduling, and leave out diagnoses, treatment history, and other sensitive health information.
How inquiries are used
Lauren uses the information you provide to reply, discuss availability, and arrange a consultation. Sending an inquiry does not establish a therapist–client relationship.
Where messages go
The website is hosted by Framer. Form submissions are processed through Framer and delivered to Lauren’s email inbox. Email and text providers also process messages sent through their services. Email, text, and this form are not a clinical intake portal, and confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.
Access and retention
Lauren is the only person with access to her inquiry email inbox and phone. Website and communication providers may process information to operate their services. Inquiry emails and texts are currently kept without a routine deletion schedule. This is separate from clinical record retention.
Website activity
Framer’s built-in analytics measure website activity without analytics cookies. These reports include page visits, referral sources, and estimates of country and device type. Framer and its service providers also process technical information to host, operate, and protect the website.
Care through Headway
Lauren uses Headway for care arranged through that platform. Headway provides its own Notice of Privacy Practices and intake documents. Those documents apply within their stated scope; this website notice does not replace clinical privacy notices or informed consent.
